PURPOSE:To improve the workability by intermittently drawing a strand group, dropping the strand, then sequentially weaving the group and sorting the strands. CONSTITUTION:A strand drawing device 11 is fixed at one end of a coil strand group 1, and the group 1 is intermittently drawn synchronously with the stepwisely dropping pitch of each strand 1a. The stepwisely dropping device 12 drops the strands disposed at both sides of th strand group 1 drawn intermittently through the device 11 in an opposite direction. The strand weaving device 13 urges and displaces the stepwisely dropped strands at the dropping side further toward the strand converging direction, thereby sequentially weaving the strand group at each dropping pitch of each strand. A strand width specifying device 14 specifies the width of the strand group 1, a strand sorting device 15 sorts the free end side of the group 1 fixed at one end to the device 11 in the opposite direction to the strand drawing direction. |
