The application deals with a procedure for the synchronous control of at least two propeller shafts with synchronous shaft generators, a parallel circuit of an electronic power switch and an inductance being arranged between shaft generator and ship's supply system. Slipping of one shaft generator and synchronising at the zero voltage is made possible by switching on the inductance. To control the shafts, a difference is formed from the actual values of power and current or from the load angles of the shaft generators and is fed forward as a disturbance variable. During the slip action of one of the shaft generators, the feedforwarding of the disturbance variable is interrupted via the associated power switch. The slip action at certain ship points is carried out until the propeller shaft has rotated relative to the other propeller shaft by one blade division. Further slipping is counted and the optical blade position is determined and firmly set. <IMAGE>
