This application is an additional application to P 3144552.7 in which a mathematical procedure, which is complicated per se, is postulated for calculation of the contours of covers of hollow fibre dialysers. The present invention provides a simpler calculation procedure which starts from the fact that the contour according to the main application leads to minimisation of the variation of the blood flow velocity in the distribution space and is furthermore based on empirical findings gained from tests with cover embodiments according to the main application. For this purpose, a contour is initially calculated which produces a flow velocity which is as constant as possible in the distribution space and furthermore a flow acceleration in the supply nozzle is introduced in order thereby to obtain kinetic energy for redirection of the flow at the nozzle inlet into the distribution space.
