CONTROL SYSTEM FOR POLLING TABLE

PURPOSE:To automatically revise the content of a polling table, by performing the polling to a slave terminal based on the procedure of HDLC-UN (high-level data link control-unbalanced normal) class with a repeater located between a main terminal and the slave terminal. CONSTITUTION:A main terminal TM transmits the 1st command to a repeater R to set the 1st link La to the initial mode and sets the 1st link La to the initial mode. When the repeater R receives the 1st command, the 2nd command is transmitted to slave terminals TS1, TS2 to set the 2nd link Lb to the cut-off mode only when the 2nd link Lb is not in the cut-off mode. Succeedingly, the main terminal TM transmits the updated information of the polling table to the repeater R with the 3rd command according to the information without number to updata the content of the polling table. The main terminal TM releases the initial mode of the 1st link at the end of updating.
