<p>An oil filter comprises a tubular filter element(18), a rigid container(16), a base member(12) & a champing band(20). The base member has on oil inlet(22) at the center & an oil outlet(24). A rigid tubular core(14) forming an oil inlet passage is sealed & fixed to the annular flange(38) formed on the central portion of the base member. The filter element is inserted to the rigid tubular core. The rigid container is sealed & fixed to the other annular flange(36) by the clamping band.</p> |
