PURPOSE:To detect temp. always with high accuracy in no contact with a body to be detected, by supporting the detecting element by a heat insulating wire having less heat capacity and by bringing this wire close to said body. CONSTITUTION:The temp. on the surface of a heating roll 3 in which a heat source 2 is incorporated is detected by a temp. detector 5. The detector 5 is constituted in such a way that a heat insulating wire 6 is stretched between each of opened parts 5b of a main body 5a having a recessed figure shape and a detecting element 7 is fixed by an adhesive material, etc. at its center part, and the heat insulating wire 6 is spread at a position retreating slightly from a top end of the end parts 5b. The detector 5 is disposed at a position where the element 7 is separated by 0.2-0.5mm. from the surface of the roller 3, and is arranged so that a surface temp. is detected in no contact with the surface of the roller 3, and at the same time a temp. signal detected by the element 7 is inputted to a voltage comparing circuit 9 by a lead wire 8. In the circuit 9, an inputted signal is compared with a set reference value and electric power supplied to a heat source 2 is controlled by turning a switch 10 on and off. |
