PURPOSE:To facilitate wiring construction, and to improve sound quality by converting a PCM-modulated audio signal into television signal, and then transmitting it between audio equipment and a VTR. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal is led to a PCM modulator and demodulator 12 to perform PCM modulation. The PCM-modulated audio signal is led to an oscillator 12, which converts it into a television signal; and the signal is transmitted through a cable line 14 and recoeded on a VTR16 through a receiver 15. This audio signal recorded as mentioned above is reproduced from the VTR and sent out to a cable line 18 to perform PCM demodulation. Thus, the PCM- modulated audio signal is converted into a television signal, which is sent to the cable line to decraes the core diameter of a coaxial cable while facilitate wiring construction work. Further, the sound quality of the audio signal is improved. |
