The actuator according to Figure 1, which can be operated electromagnetically, has a disc-shaped armature (19) which is operatively connected to a control slide valve (26). The armature (19) is located in the housing (13) of the electromagnet, which housing (13) is filled with the pressure medium via a hole (36) which is connected to the return (33). Said pressure medium originates from a pressure medium source (44) which produces a connection to the load or to the return depending on the position of the control slide valve (26).
