PURPOSE:To decrease the phase distortion generated at a high frequency amplifier, by compensating the relative delay generated at a band pass filter with a frequency converter. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency f1 is inputted to a mixer 3 via a wave shaping circuit 1 and a resonator 9, and a signal of frequency f2 is inputted to the mixer 3 via an isolator 6 and a circulator 5. Thus, the sum (difference) of frequencies of an intermediate frequency signal and a local oscillating power, fs=f1+f2 (or f1-f2) and the harmonics are generated at the mixer 3, and they are given to a band pass filter 7 through a circulator 5 through the reflection of the resonator 9 where the center frequency is adjusted to f0. The signal fs is selected at a filter 7 and outputted after being amplified to a required power at a high frequency amplifier 8. Thus, the resonator 9 having the high frequency reflecting function where the intermediate frequency is the same as that of the filter and the relative phase delay characteristics are the same, is provided between the high frequency and intermediate frequency circuits. |
