Process for producing deformable plastic composites

The process for producing a flexible, reinforced composite sheet from plastic and reinforcing materials, in particular metal fabrics, consists in that at least one fabric ply of electrically conductive materials is covered on both sides by a thermoplastic film and bonded together under pressure and heat. The heat is in this case generated by passing a current through the fabric ply or by inductive heating of the latter. The fabric ply is incorporated in the neutral axis of the composite sheet.
