In a wiper arrangement having a wiper motor and a pendulum gearing, energy is stored in wiper angle regions with a low motor loading in an energy store and is used in wiper angle regions with a relatively large motor loading to support the rotational movement of the wiper motor. In this way, interference noises due to loading fluctuations are reduced and smaller and lighter wiper motors can be used.
