At the interfaces between digital and analog transmission systems, there is the necessity of converting the digital signals into quasi-analog signals which can be transmitted, for example, via carrier frequency systems. For this purpose, the digital signals are supplied to delay lines which are connected to inputs of a read-only memory. The output signals output by the read-only memory with a particular spectral shaping are added weighted in an adder, at least one output signal weighted with a factor of 0.5 and output one clock period previously being used for the addition, in addition to the input signal of the adder. The invention can be used, in particular, as interface between digital local area networks and analog carrier frequency systems. <IMAGE>
