Such a folding sliding part is formed from two or more folding units (2, 3, 4), the mutually abutting frame parts (5, 6) of which form a rebate (7). Arranged centrally in front of the rebates (7) are joint hinges (10), the hinge plates (11, 12) of which lie on the outer parts of the frame parts (5, 6) and grip around the rebates (7) with drive-in pins (13). The rebate (7) is thereby free to accommodate a resilient seal (18, 19) and locking means (20, 22). In contrast to known folding sliding parts, the shape of the rebate itself can also be chosen and adapted to existing specifications. <IMAGE>
