In order, in a pivot mounting for door-holding hinges of doorstops for motor-vehicle doors (according to Patent Application DE-OS 3,125,967), to prevent both any possibility of a change of shape of the clamping sleeve under the effect of peak loads exerted transversely relative to its axis and any possibility of a creeping of the clamping sleeve in the circumferential direction, it is proposed that, to enlarge the mutual bearing faces of the bearing block and clamping sleeve, projections and/or recesses be arranged on one side or alternately on the end faces of the clamping sleeve, which are directed transversely relative to its axis, and/or on the arms of the bearing block, and that the clamping sleeve and arms of the bearing block bear on one another, with the bearing sleeve being subjected to axial prestress. At the same time, if the arms of the bearing block are smooth-faced, the projections on the end face of the clamping sleeve can be made in the form of a knife edge or else projections and recesses engaging in one another in the manner of a toothing can be provided alternately on the arms of the bearing block and on the end faces of the clamping sleeve. <IMAGE>
