PURPOSE:To suppress the reflection of surface waves, by making the width of a part of the outermost conductor thick or thin, out of a conductor group forming a surface acoustic wave transducer. CONSTITUTION:Comb type electrodes 11, 12 are provided on a piezoelectric base. The electrodes 11, 12 consist of common terminals 13, 14 and electrode fingers 15a, 15b...20a, 20b. The electrode finger 15a which is lambda/8 wide (where; lambda is the wavelength) is provided vertically to a terminal 13 of the electrode 11, at a location parted by lambda/2 from the end of the terminal 13. The length of the electrode finger 17b located at the end is the same as that of the other electrode fingers and the width of a part of them is made thin or thick by lambda/4. |
