WATCH CASE

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of polishing steps because the surface part of an electroforming shell layer is virtually identical to the real model with a watch case obtained by using the metallic shell electroformed by using an electroforming matrix transferred faithfully with the surface of the watch case and casting metallic solder into said shell. CONSTITUTION:An electroforming matrix 1 is made of a non-metallic material and complies with the shape of a watch case. Its specular surface part is finished to a specular surface and seams are formed by faithful tracing of seam finishes. A conductive film 2 is obtained by a silver mirror method, a vapor depositing or sputtering method or an electroless plating method. Such electroforming mold is put in a plating layer and an electroforming shell obtained by subjecting the same to an electroforming treatment is removed from the electroforming matrix and the watch case is produced by casting metallic solder thereon. 4 denotes the metallic solder.
