In the vibration sieve, the oscillation exciter (6) is connected to the sieve box (2), bearing a sieve plate (3), at the section where an oscillation centre point (C1) of the sieve box (2) is located, and is arranged, with respect to the sieve plate (3) of the sieve box (2) opposite the supporting damping element (4). The support levers (5) of the sieve box (2) are arranged essentially perpendicular to its main axis of inertia and are located on the sieve box (2) at the section where its other oscillation centre point (C2) is located. <IMAGE>
