PURPOSE:To obtain the titled suspension containing uniformly dispersed EDTA 2K particles and capable of being fractionated accurately into blood-collecting vessels, by adding and mixing powdery EDTA2K in methyl alcohol, and applying ultrasonic vibration to the suspension. CONSTITUTION:The objective suspension of anticoagulant can be prepared by mixing powdery EDTA2K of formula in methyl alcohol, and applying ultrasonic wave (200w, 9,000Hz, 20min) to the dispersion so as to disperse the particles of EDTA2K uniformly in methyl alcohol. Since the medium of the suspension is methyl alcohol, it can be evaporated and dissipated rapidly, and can be fractionated into the blood-collecting vessels in a short time. As the EDTA2K left in the vessel after the evaporation of the medium is white powder, the presence of EDTA2K and its amount can be also recognized extremely easily. |
