Drying installation for agricultural products or other materials

The drying installation extends e.g. fron the beginning to the end of a meadow and serves for rapid drying of fodder; it consists of a duct with approximately rectangular cross-section, the top of which is perforated and is provided with drying air for acting on the material to be dried placed thereon. In a known drying installation, the duct consists of duct sections which have a rigid construction and are thus difficult to transport. In the drying installation according to the invention, the drier (1) corresponds to the duct. Floor (10), top (11) and walls (12, 13, 14) of the drier (1) consist of a flexible airtight material so that it can be rolled up on a drum for transport. Inside the drier (1), there is provided a rigidly built-in or removable support device (41) which supports the perforated top (11) and takes this function away from the blower air. The support device (41) consists of a main tube (15), from which lateral tubes (17) branch off at right angles, the free ends of which are closed, the support device (41) being rigidifiable by means of a pump for a gaseous or liquid pressure medium. <IMAGE>
