PURPOSE:To supply a cover to a receptacle without deformation by sliding a cover along a horizontal circular arc cover guide portion to be dropped from the terminal end of the guide portion onto the upper surface of the receptacle in a conveyer. CONSTITUTION:A cover supplied from a chute 13 onto the starting and portion 11' of a guide portion 11 is transported along the guide portion 11 toward a conveyer 5, while being pushed from the back by a pin 16 moved in a slit 15 of the guide portion 11 toward the terminal end portion 11' by rotation of a rotor 8, until the cover slips off the terminal end 11' of the guide portion 11 onto the upper surface of a receptacle 3 in the conveyer 5. The cover 12 slips down the guide portion 11 onto the receptacle in such a manner as to be placed a little distance (e) short of the receptacle 3 relative to the feeding direction, and the pin 16 brought into contact with a flange 3' forces the cover to advance toward the receptacle 3 by the distance (e). Thus, the cover 12 can be correctly placed on the receptacle 3. |
