PURPOSE:To keep the electrolyte fluid amount to a definite optimum amount constantly and minimize crossover by controlling the humidifying amount to the air and fuel, or only air which are supplied to a fuel battery so as to maintain a constant level of electrolyte concentration. CONSTITUTION:Electrolyte concentration control system detects the electrolyte concentration in the fuel battery by the arithmetic unit 19, based on the signals given from the temperature detector 17, and humidity detectors 18a and 18b; and the regulator 20 controlls the steam fluid control valve 21, and 21b, according to the difference between said concentration and the set value. When there is a shift between the electrolyte concentration of the fuel battery 1 and its set value, constant electrolyte concentration can be maintained by adjusting the steam amount which is supplied to the fuel battery in order to correct said shift. |
