PURPOSE:To reduce the working time in comparison with case of a simultaneous biaxial lathe by using a simultaneous 4-axis lathe in which each tool base or tool head is arranged to be driven independently in each X-axis or Z-axis direction. CONSTITUTION:After each of preprocessing for pulse distribution calculation for one side tool BT1 and for pulse distribution calculation for the other side tool BT2 is completed, pulse distribution calculation for both tools is started, while maintaining synchranism with the one-revolution signal of a main spindle SH. As pulse distribution is started through generation of the one-revolution signal RTS, transfer of both tool bases TL1 and TL2 is carried-out at the same time, and balance cutting can be performed with high accuracy. |
