PURPOSE:To enhance productivity as well as prevent the jig from deformation and damage by rotating the upper jig one to several turns, while a bearing is placed on the lower jig, by making indexing momentarily through pushing of balls by the indexing part, and thereby performing the indexing without unreasonable force applied to the bearing. CONSTITUTION:A jig A is composed of a rotatable upper half 1 and a stationary lower half 2. The upper half 1 has a form of short cylinder stretching in the longitudinal direction and is provided with a projection 8 as indexing part downward from the bottom of the cylinder and with a curvature 9 for sliding and notches 10, 11. The lower half 2 has also a form of short cylinder and provided at its top 13 with indexing recesses 15 for engagement with balls of the bearing 4 at a constant spacing in the number corresponding to the number of balls 14. The upper half 1 sinks while rotating clockwise along the vertical shaft 12 togather once the balls 14, which thereafter are pushed in the rotational direction by the curvature 9 of the projection 8 at the bottom to be engaged one after another with the recesses 15 for indexing provided in the lower half 2. |
