PURPOSE:To correct the deviation of print by controlling the timing of printing on the basis of a print-deviation regulating time indication signal and a print- startup dot position indication signal for a dot-matrix type serial printer to make both normal and reverse-directed printings. CONSTITUTION:Print data for one line, stored in a buffer 8 through an interface circuit 5, are fetched out by a micro processor 7 when a printing command is input, converted into dot pattern data, and then memorized. In this case, also, an initial data pointer to show the starting position of print is set at a given address. Furthermore, the running of a carrier 17 is indicated, the carrier 17 enters a printing region and detects the formation of dot pulse, a waiting time for regulating normal and reverse-directed print deviations is input by ON-OFF operations of the digital switch SW1 of a regulation indicator 10, and then a pin-driving current is turned ON. |
