PURPOSE:To prevent the heat-transmitting performance of a lower pipe group from being lowered and prevent a vapor flow in the pipe group from being obstructed, by a method wherein buffles for guiding condensed liquid are placed in radial directions to extend from a central part of the pipe group. CONSTITUTION:The buffles 4 are placed in radial direction to extend from the central part of the pipe group 1. A vapor flows into the pipe group 1 from the outside periphery of the pipe group 1, is cooled by making contact with outside surfaces of the pipes, and is condensed. The condensed liquid formed at the upper half of the pipe group 1 is guided onto upper surfaces of an air-extracting part 3 and the buffles 4, and flows downwards through the central part of the pipe group 1 in a centralized condition. Accordingly, most of the lower half of the pipe group 1 is free from the effect of the condensed liquid, and heat-transmitting efficiency is enhanced. In addition, since the buffles 4 are placed in radial directions, the vapor flow in the pipe group is not obstructed by the buffles 4. |
