PURPOSE:To prevent a parison from hanging down, by a method wherein a copolymer consisting of a given ethylene and alpha-olefin of which the number of carbons is 4-20 is molded using a die in which a fluoroplastic resin or a silicone resin treatment is conducted on a resin flow path. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer, consisting of ethylene, having a melt flow rate of 0.1-5g/10min, a density of 0.910-0.940g/cm<2>, a crystallinity by X-rays of 40- 70%, a melting point of 115-130 deg.C, and a molar weight distribution (a value of weight mean molar weight/number mean molar weight) of not more than 6, and alpha-olefin with the number of carbons of 4-40, is molded at a resin temperature of 150-190 deg.C using a die, in which a fluoroplastic resin or a silicone resin treatment is made on a resin flow path, to obtain a blow molding made of an ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer. The blow molding is most suitable for use with toilet containers, detergent or shampoo bottles or other applications. |
