PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus capable of continuously molding a large-sized roll-shaped food, by molding a coating of a food with a molding cup having a reducible opening size and a molding rod into a cup, filling ingredients therein, and sealing the opening. CONSTITUTION:A dough sheet to be a coating for a food is drawn onto a molding station 2 by holding fingers 10 and 11 and cut. A molding rod 23 is passed through a drawing hole 28 to draw out the coating in a molding cup 29, and simultaneously folded by folding protruding parts 35. The diameter of the molding cup 29 is then reduced to the outer periphery of the molding rod 23 to mold the coating into a cup. Ingredients 20 are then filled from the interior of the molding rod 23 in the coating, and the molding rod 23 is then raised. The opening edge part of the cup-like coating is then closed by a sealing apparatus 32. The resultant molded food is then delivered onto a conveyor 33 by enlarging the opening of the molding cup 29. |
