LOW-FREQUENCY SOUND GENERATOR

A low-frequency sound generator for generating intense sound comprising a resonator. Pressurized gas is supplied to the resonator as pulses through a feeder. A movable unit is provided for positive feedback of the sound pressure in the resonator to the feeder at a predetermined resonance frequency of the resonator but not at other frequencies. The unit has a resonance frequency higher than the fundamental of the resonator, but lower than the first harmonic.
