PURPOSE:To improve the comfortableness around feet by providing an air flow control means with an expanded temperature range so that a blowout air flow is made a LOW level when an air conditioner is set at a FOOT blowout mode. CONSTITUTION:At a FACE mode and a BI level mode, a resistor R1 is connected by a transfer switch 9 and the reference voltage of a discriminating circuit 4 is decreased than that when a resistor Rm is connected, therefore, the output of the circuit 4 is made L (low) even if the temperature difference signal from an absolute value circuit 3 is small. On the other hand, at a FOOT mode the output of the circuit 4 is not made L (low) unless the temperature difference signal becomes large. The difference between a reference voltage V1 when the air flow level is switched from LOW to ME and a reference voltage V2 when switched from ME to HI is primarily determined by resistors R6-R9, thereby it is almost constant for any diffuser mode. Accordingly, the air flow level is kept LOW over a larger temperature difference range at a FOOT mode than at other modes, thus a chilly feeling around feet can be avoided. |
