PURPOSE:To adjust displacement, and to improve the efficiency of intermediate load operation by mounting an oscillating body with an I-shaped section, an upper surface thereof is connected to a connecting rod through a sliding body by an arcuate rail and a lower surface thereof to a crankshaft through a retainer by an inclined rail, and moving the sliding body on the rail. CONSTITUTION:When the crankshaft 11 is turned, the oscillating body 8, the sliding body 4, the connecting rod 3 and a piston 2 are vertically reciprocated through the retainer 12. The reciprocation of the oscillating body 8 takes a fan shape using a shaft 9 as an axis because the oscillating body 8 is axially supported to an arm 7 by the shaft 9. Consequently, when a motor 20 is turned to move an arm 14 to the right and the sliding body 4 is positioned at the most right side of the rail 10, the stroke of the piston 2 becomes the shortest, the stroke of the piston 2 is increased with the left movement of the sliding body 4 by means of the arm 14, and the stroke of the piston 2 becomes maximum when the sliding body 4 is positioned at the most left side of the rail 10. Accordingly, the displacement of the engine is adjusted by moving the position of the sliding body 4 left and right on the rail 10. |
