PURPOSE:To improve the rate of removal of carbon, and to ameliorate durability by mounting an imperforate cap, an imperforate partition and a wire net in the spark arrester device for exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas at a high temperature, which is discharged at high pressure from the upper stream side of an exhaust pipe 10 and contains carbon powder, intrudes from the introducing port 5a of an external cylinder body 5 as arrows, collides with the cap 1a of an internal cylinder body 1 while being separated and deflected along the inclined plane of the cap 1a, and is induced to the outer circumferential side of the cylinder body 1. Exhaust gas induced to the outside collides with the partition 4 of an end section while being deflected, and passes through the wire net 2 and through holes 16 and flows into the cylinder body 1. |
