发明名称 FATIGUE TESTING DEVICE FOR BELLOWS
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the fatigue test quickly and accurately without variation in the internal pressure by mounting many bellows in pairs of two bellows on the upper and lower parts of a driving shaft in a heating furnace, and fixing the upper end and lower end driving the center flange. CONSTITUTION:Three heating furnaces 7 are installed on the upper part of the column 10 in the main body 1 of a bellows testing device. In the device two bellows 12 and 12' to be tested are installed on a driving rod 18 with a center flange 22 between the bellows 12 and 12'. Into the inside of an insulation cover 11 of the heating furnace 7 an inert gas is filled. A heater 13 is controlled by a control device 4 to keep constant the temperature of the inert gas. A control device 3 drives a hydraulic device 2 to move a driving cylinder 9 up and down, moving an arm 8 and rod 18 as one body. With this arrangement the bellows 12 and 12' to be tested are repeatedly stretched and shrunk for fatigue test. Because two bellows up and down are combined and provided with holes for internal communication, the up and down movement of the rod does not change the internal volume of the bellows, making it possible to test with a constant internal pressure.
