PURPOSE:To decrease weight of a vehicle and/or laterally balance the weight, by arranging equipment storage racks in both end parts longitudinally of a control room. CONSTITUTION:A sub-control room 2 and generator compartment 3 of a relay car are arranged longitudinally of a box bed 23, formed independently of a driver's cabin, further separated from each other by a sound insulating wall 24. In this way, propagation of a noise from a generator 16 into the sub-control room 2 can be substantially reduced, and accommodation and workability can be improved. Control equipment storage racks 8A-8C, 8D-8F, extensibly located in the direction of a car width, are arranged longitudinally of both end parts in the sub-control room 2, and weight of the car is uniformly set in left and right sides. Further the racks 8A-8F are extensibly provided in the direction of car width, and overall length of the car can be remarkably decreased, then the car can be formed to small size and light weight. |
