PURPOSE:To obtain high optical transmission bodies with good productivity by providing a resist layer of a refractive index higher than that of a backing film on said film, exposing optical transmission patterns thereon, and developing the same then bringing the resist layer into contact with a compd. having reactivity thereby forming a surface layer of a refractive index lower than that of the resist layer. CONSTITUTION:A resist layer having a refractive index higher than that of a surface layer 6 and consisting of a curable compd. of an acrylic polymer having functional groups such as epoxy groups or OH groups and meth(acrylate) of polyhydric alcohol is provided on a backing film (polyester, etc.) 7 which is a film of, for example, CH2=CF2 alone or a (co)polymer film contg. >=60mol% the same or uses said film as the layer 6. Patterns of transmission lines are exposed on said layer by UV and are developed; thereafter, the uncured parts are removed. The cured resist layers 5 are brought into contact with the compd. expressed by the formulasI-III[(n) is 1-20, (m) is 1-10, (l) is 1-9]to form surface layers 5a of a refractive index lower than that 5b of the layers 5. Thus, the optical transmission bodies of optional shapes and low transmission losses are produced with good productivity. |
