PURPOSE:The sliver on the inner surface of the outer rotor is sucked and drafted, as being whirled, by means of an air swirl generator in the inner rotor to produce high-quality spun yarn with good touch. CONSTITUTION:Separated filaments F1 are received on the inner surface 8a of a truncated cone shape in the outer rotor 8 and collected into a sliver F2. An air-swirl generator is set inside the inner rotor 10 which makes a differential rotation a little swifter than the outer rotor 8 in the same direction to suck the sliver F2 on the inner surface 8a by the action of the swirl flow, to collect as squeezing, twist and draft it. |
