PURPOSE:To effect masking and change of a decision level with the same means, by providing a control data memory having an address corresponding to that of a reference data memory, and setting a decision level per picture element according to the data read out from the control data memory. CONSTITUTION:A control data memory 16 is provided having an address a' corresponding to that of a reference data memory 6. A control data for determining an allowable tolerance of a reference data with respect to a detection data is written in the control data memory 16 per picture element or a plurality of picture elements of a picture data. A decision level for comparing operation between the reference data and the detection data is set according to the control data read out from the control data memory 16. |
