<p>PURPOSE:To accelerate the dissolution of filth and to activate the function of aerobes, by providing a filth-crushing tool having a plurality of projected stumbling pieces inside the part of an aerating cell in a manner such that it comes in contact with the turning current of filthy water being agitated and aerated with oxygen. CONSTITUTION:Filthy water containing bulky filth such as excretions and paper flowing into the part of an aerating cell 16 is turned together with bubbles formed by pressurized air supplied through a blastpipe 23 in the aerating chamber, and the bulky filth is brought into contact with the projected stumbling pieces 28, 28' of filth-crushing tools 29, 29' and torn off by the movement of the repeatedly turning filthy water itself so that the bulky filth is completely crushed and dissolved in a short time by the repeated contact with the stumbling pieces 28, 28'. As a result, the effect of aeration is remarkably improved, the formations of sludge at the lower part of a precipitating cell 17 and suspended matter at its upper part are suppressed, an amount of clarified water in the part of the precipitating cell 17 becomes large, and the waste water to be drained from the purifying cell A to the outside is changed into clean purified water not-containing filth.</p> |
