PURPOSE:To weld effectively the titled laminates, by using welding electrodes each of which has a pressing section and an electrode section, providing the resin layer of each of the laminate with an indentation adjacent to the position that will be pressed by the pressing section, and passing an electric current to the electrode sections with the electrode sections in contact with the indentations. CONSTITUTION:For example, metal-synthetic resin-metal laminates are drilled adjacent to the positions where welding will be performed, with the skins 1, 1' that will be brought into contact with one another and will be welded left undrilled, so that resin materials 2, 2' and skins 3, 3' in the openings A are removed. Then the skins 1, 1' are brought into contact with one another, the sections of the laminates where welding will be performed are clamped between the pressing sections 4, 4', the electrodes 5, 5' are inserted into said openings to become in contact with the skins 1, 1', and an electric current is passed therethrough. |
