PURPOSE:To prevent a plurality of inks of different colors from mixing with each other, by a method wherein a cam part in a complementary relationship with a cam part provided on an ink roll case is provided on the carriage side, and ink rolls and a type belt are separated from each other at the time of fitting or detaching the ink roller case. CONSTITUTION:The ink roller case 1 containing the ink rolls 3, 4 of different colors is fitted into a containing space 7d of the carriage, and the fitting process is further proceeded from the condition wherein the case 1 is separated from a type drum 8, resulting in that the cam part 1a provided on the case 1 side is engaged with the cam part 7b provided on the carriage 7 side. A spring 12 is fitted into a recessed part 1c of the case 1, and under an additional pressure of the spring 12, the case 1 is pressed against the drum 8. When detaching the case 1, the engagement between the cam parts 1a, 7b is released, and the case 1 can be taken out under the condition wherein the ink rolls 3, 4 are separated from the drum 8. |
