PURPOSE:To prevent surely occurrence of creeping phenomena, i.e. a car's beginning to move slowly while parking, by changing over the oil feed to the clutch when the car shall stop temporarily and by switching the speed-change range automatically to the neutral position. CONSTITUTION:While a car is running, the foot is released from the accelerator pedal 2 for temporary stop and the engine it put in the idling condition as well as the brake pedal is stamped in for stopping the car, when the pointer 5 of speedometer 1 will return to the zero position and a switch 3 will be turned on. Another switch 4 will be also turned on with the acceleration pedal 2 in its released condition. Thereby a battery 22 applies current to solenoid operated valves 17, 18, and the oil feed line, through which an oil-hydraulic control device 14 operates the clutches in front of and behind the planetary gearing device, is changed over to put both clutches into released condition. Accordingly, the speed change range is kept in neutral position regardless of the position of shift lever, and thus creeping phenomena can be prevented. |
