ANTI-QUAKE INSTALLATION MEMBER

PURPOSE:To prevent vibration, movement and tumble of an installation by combining the upper member provided with a boss horizontally below the table with the lower member provided with a projection for the purpose of engagement with the above-mentioned boss through a non-linear elastic substance. CONSTITUTION:An anti-quake installation member is formed by interposing a non-linear elastic substance 3 made of neoprene etc. between the upper 1 and lower 2 members, where the upper member 1 is equipped with a table 4 for placing necessary apparatus and two or more bosses 5 protruding outward from this table 4 at an appropriate spacing. The lower member 2 is furnished with a bottom plate 6 for installation on the floor and a flange 8 protruding inward from this plate 6 at a certain spacing with a cylinder 7 interposed. This flange 8 is provided with a recess 8a and a projection 8b for engagement with said bosses 5. Thereby vibrations of the installation can be suppressed as well as movement and tumble prevented in the event of an earthquake etc.
