PURPOSE:To realize the small-sized, simplified constitution of a reader which reads chrominance signals of a color original, to facilitate the reading operation, and to lower the price, by interposing each filter of a filter plate successively between the original and one reading element at every scan. CONSTITUTION:Every time an original 16 is scanned by an optical system 20, a filter 11 divided equally into three sectors of red, green, and blue is moved to interpose one of filters of red, green, and blue of the filter plate 11 between the original 16 and one reading element 15 successively, and to read chrominance signals of the original picture successively through the one optical system. Consequently, the adjustment for every optical system is unnecessary, and the constitution is simplified to realize an easy-to-operate, small-sized reader. |
