The slide drawer for filing cards, kitchen cabinet or the like is assembled from separate components. It comprises a front (4) and rear (1) wall, two side walls (2,3) and a bottom (6). At least the side and rear walls consist of portions of a rolled rectangular omega-section member having a U-section groove (10) in its outer surface which is provided with longitudinally equi-spaced slots (8a) at right angles to the longitudinal direction. These slots permit transverse or longitudinal partitions (7) and, at the corners between adjoining sides, the bottom wall of the groove in one side engages a slot (8a) near the end of an adjoining side after the side walls of the slot in the one side have been pressed together to enter between the side walls of the adjoining side. |
