<p>The mirror assembly comprises a mirror (10) mounted on a carrier (12) so as to be angularly movable relative to a housing (22). The housing (22) has a part-spherical concave inner surface (24) which is engaged by a corresponding convex surface (16) on the carrier. The housing (22) also supports a pivot pin (28) with its point at the centre of gravity of the part-spherical surfaces and a slider (30) mounted on the carrier (12) is spring-biased into engagement with the pin (28) so as to maintain the surfaces (16, 24) in engagement with one another.</p> |
