A domestic cutting machine, which is driven by means of an electric motor, for foodstuffs, especially a slicing machine with a revolving blade, having a casing and a cutting tool which acts on the foodstuffs to be processed and is driven by means of a driving assembly which is enclosed by its own casing and can be positively mounted on the casing in an easily releasible fashion. The object is to improve operator-friendliness, especially with regard to safety. This is achieved according to the invention in that the cutting tool (16) and the driving assembly (15) are connected to one another with operative engagement by means of a centering device (50) which is arranged on the casing (11). The device can thus be designed in such a way that the cutting tool cannot be mounted on the driving assembly when the latter has been removed and cannot be removed from the casing together with the driving assembly while being integrally connected to the latter. <IMAGE> |
