PURPOSE:To obtain damping effect of a bearing member by enabling pressurized oil to be fed in the space between a bearing member to support a horizontal rotary shaft and a casing which surrounds it, and forming an oil film between the bearing member and the casing. CONSTITUTION:In such a structure that an annular bearing member 2 is provided for supporting a horizontal rotary shaft 1, and the bearing member 2 is supported by a two-split casing 3, an oil film forming space S is formed between the outer peripheral face of the bearing member 2 and the inner circumferential face of the casing 3. Then, two high pressure oil feeding ports 4 to feed high pressure oil for supporting the bearing member are symmetrically provided around the inner circumferential face of the lower casing part 3A which is tightly fixed on a base stand, and a low pressure oil feeding port 5 to feed low pressure oil for forming oil film is provided on the inner circumferential face of the upper casing part 3B. Besides, a lubicating oil feeding port 12 is formed on the inner circumferential face of the bearing member 2. And the bearing member 2 is gently restrained through a key 11 to the part 3A. |
