<p>Installation for removing dust from gas by filtration comprises an inlet enclosure provided with an inlet for the gas to be freed from dust, a discharge enclosure placed above the inlet enclosure and provided with an outlet for the clean gas, a wall sepg the enclosures provided with an opening for passage, and a filter unit placed in the discharge enclosure. The filter unit is constituted by a set of filtering wall elements and includes an inlet opening for the gas to be freed from dust and a joint normally tight between the edge of the opening in the sepn wall and that of the inlet opening of the unit, to prevent any direct passage of gas between the two enclosures without its having passed through the filter walls. The installation includes means of locking the filter unit and a side opening for access to the unit on the discharge enclosure, allowing it to be extracted, normally closed by a door. The means of locking the filter unit are arranged so that they bring about a lifting of the unit in the unlocking position, bringing it to a higher position than it occupies in the normal operating position. They constitute the means of support and sliding for the unit, allowing it to be manoeuvred easily for extn through the side opening. The invention resolves problems of moving the filter unit and allow rapid manoeuvring in safe conditions by operators not specially qualified.</p> |
