PURPOSE:To prevent the captioned lamp from generating cracks and to enhance the yield of an luminous tube as well as the quality, by supporting the total load of the main tube by means of a fixed exhaust pipe in the sealing process of a small-sized luminous tube whose inter-electrode distance is less than 15mm.. CONSTITUTION:In a small-sized luminous tube whose inter-electrode is less than 15mm., the total load of a main tube 1 is supported by an exhaust pipe 10, and this exhaust pipe 10 is designed to be fixed by means of a clamp-base 30 and clamper 31. Consequently, even if almost the lower half of the main tube 1 is heated and softened, the temperature gradient is gentle because there is no cooling source, and even if the end part is crushed by a pincher 14, no crack is generated, the yield is enhanced, thus the luminous tube of high quality can be effectively obtained. |
