PORTABLE TYPE RADIATION MEASURING APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH RELEASE

PURPOSE:To effectively limit entrance into a highly radiated area by setting a display part equipped with a means discriminating whether the highly radiated area should be locked or not in accordance with the percentage of measured radiation and its releasing means at the entrance of said area. CONSTITUTION:A radiation measuring apparatus consists of a detection part 1, a display part 2, a discrimination means 3, a releasing means 4, etc. The display part 2 displays the percentage of radiation by pulses from the detection part 1 on a large-sized meter with logarithmic scales indicating the percentage of radiation or a digital display tube. The discrimination part 3 detects pulses from the detection part 1 to output a release enabling signal Y when a pulse is included in a set point and a release disabling signal N when other than the set point. The portable type radiation measuring apparatus porvided with a release can effectively limit entrance into the highly radiated area.
