PURPOSE:To prevent uneven coating of a developer on a developing carrier, by eliminating the electric charge which a residual developer after development being on the developing carrier has, by a destaticizing member. CONSTITUTION:A destaticizing member 12 is installed to the inside wall of the projecting end of a developing device, and a lot of conductive fibers 13 are bundled and are held by a supporting body 14. The conductive fibers 13 of the destaticizing member 12 is in contact with the surface of a developing sleeve 2, and have an effect for attenuating the charge which a toner 6 on the surface of the developing sleeve has. The conductive fibers 13 and the supporting member 14 conduct electrically, and also the supporting member 14 and the developing sleeve 2 are connected electrically. In this way, charge which a toner having ended development has is attaenuated, and force by which the toner adheres onto the surface of the developing sleeve 2 is weakened. |
